Hello everyone. Let’s go visit those nice gals down at the Spah Grill in Mountain View on Wednesday morning August 13. I called and we have a reservation set for 8:30am. They too cannot wait to see us. We have a big table reserved so let’s fill it up and have a great time.
Look forward to seeing everyone. Ed

What a fabulous ride today. On the road at 6:30 am. I even pulled over at the Cotter Overlook on 62 to snap a picture of our sunrise. No way I could pass it up. Thought it might make a good first uploaded picture for today’s ride. We are all really blessed to live and ride in such a beautiful place. Love the smooth Arkansas roads. Not like southern Illinois where I came from. Like Baghdad … potholes everywhere and they will bend wheels. Arkansas roads are so enjoyable.
A few of us met at the start of AR-341 Push Mountain Road at 7am this morning. 24 miles of curvy beautiful road. We then met at 8am at the Spah Grill in Mountain View. From my cabin in Flippin, it was a 138 mile round trip. My KLR 650 was so fun on those twisties. Couple Moto Guzzi rockets ahead of me (John and Neil) .. dragging their foot pegs on some of those corners. I assume the sparks were from the pegs or maybe their tail pipes. Well they weren’t really that aggressive, but they do go !!
We ended up with seven riders today .. a smaller, but still a really fun bunch of ROMEOS. A few of our ROMEO brothers were out of town or ill. We pray for their speedy and safe return to us for more fun rides and eats.
Lastly, the temps should be coming down in the weeks to come. We’ll be checking the forecast. Should open up some great brunch and lunch rides. Until our next fun adventure .. Ed
