North Central Kansas Weekly Ride 11/1/23

It looks like winter is back. The temperature is flirting with out 50* cut off, So I'm keeping this one close. We haven't been here since July of last year. It's usually a good ride, just be ware of their Pavement Pounder, unless you haven't eaten for about a week.

I just looked at the forecast for tomorrow. The forecast high went up 2*! WOO HOO! Break out the beach chairs umbrellas and sun screen! At least they're saying 0% chance of rain. I was running a little late for the world peace summit. I didn't wake up until 8:00. So I scrambled through a shower and called Dave Herrman just to see if anyone actually showed up in this cold. We had a bigger turnout than I expected. Well, after solving all the worlds problems we got down to the important matter of a launch time. After some serious deliberation and debate, we settled on a launch time of 12:00 from the Rodeway Inn.
