As many of you knew Floyd Turner, it is with great sorrow that Floyd has passed away. Floyd would have been 84 years young June the 21st . He has been fighting cancer now for sometime. Floyd was one of few that knew and understood how to install a sidecar on a motorcycle. He and his boys, Leonard and Jim, ran a motorcycle shop on South Hydraulic St. here in Wichita many years ago. Floyd was a great motorcycle racer and everyone at the race track knew him. Services for Floyd are scheduled for May 3rd at 9:00 am at the Old Mission Cemetery on east 21st St. in Wichita where he will be buried next to his wife Margaret. Floyd will surely be missed.

A Great Motorcyclist Passed away
Re: A Great Motorcyclist Passed away
Sorry to hear that Floyd has passed away...He was icon of motorcycling and a great individual.. I had the privilege of having Floyd set up a sidecar for me years ago and sharing time with him as he worked meticulously on the sidecar will always be a treasured experience.
