OK, Smokey's BBQ is the pick for this week. It has always been a favorite of ours so it is only fitting that we visit them again. The last time we were there it was another one of those torrential rain days. Smokey’s loves to see us coming, and they are anxious to see us back. It looks like the forecast calls for partly cloudy and in the low 40’s.

As a reminder, Smokey’s is now under new ownership since the 1st of the year. Many of you already know they have always served BREAKFAST even though it's a "BBQ" place. BUT THERE HAS BEEN A SLIGHT CHANGE: They no longer serve breakfast on the weekdays and have started to serve just lunch and dinners. Breakfast is served only on the weekends!

But here is the good news for us ROMEO’s! Amanda said she would open the doors at 10am just for us. So, you can still order a breakfast until lunch time, which begins at noon. So, heads up for you early birds. I know it will be a late start for you all, but breakfast is still available.

DON’T FORGET: if you are coming by way of KS-68 and plan to go north on KS-33, the bridge is out on K-33 going to Wellsville. "Happy trails" to you and hope to see you all there.

We had a good crowd and gathering today. I’m assuming some of our riders that were not there were at the funeral of Bob and Audrey’s daughter, Shelley. Sharon and I went to her viewing last night and many of our riders were well represented there.

I thought for a moment when I first got to Smokey’s BBQ this morning, could it be I finally arrived before anyone else? But when walking in, would’t you know it, guess again. There was Cliff sitting at a table all by his lonesome waiting on me and Marvin. I’m beginning to believe that it will only be in my dreams that I will I be the first to arrive at any of our rides.

Oh well, that dosen’t detour me wanting to meet with you all. You are always a positive and supportive crowd to be with. I love the many fascinating stories that are told around the table while breaking bread together. OK, enough of my sentiments expressed. It’s time for SHOW & TELL:
