If you hadn't heard, Randy Roberts had heart valve surgery at KU Medical Center on Thursday the 31st. He came through great and even sent me this text today, Friday the 1st, "I'm doing good and ready to go. Dr. says tomorrow, Saturday is the day. New valve is working like it is supposed to." So, not open heart surgery, but still a heart valve replacement and home in two days! I appreciate Randy so much for all he does and I really like passing on such good news.
Option A for Tuesday 2/5/19 is Family Cabin Restaurant in Belton. When we went to Family Cabin in February of 2018 the temp was a -1 degree. When we went there in July of 2018 the temp was 95 degrees warmer. Lets hope we can land somewhere near the middle this time. Breakfast is served until 11:00 and then lunch after that. Food and service have always been good in the past and I would anticipate the same. They will be ready for us. Hope to see you there.

Option B will be Catrick's Cafe in Lawson, MO. Last time we were there it was a hot day in August, the food and service were good. They have a Rotary Group Meeting at 12:00 and since it doesn't look like a great day to ride (for most of us), how about 10:30 as a good time. Breakfast served all day, lunch menu starts at 11:00. Hope to see you there.

We had 14 brave Romeos today at Catrick's, the food was good, hot and quick to the table.
The windshield started to ice up on the way home, but the roads were still good at 1:00pm.
Lots of salt trucks out getting ready for the evening rush!
