Looks like another hot dry Tuesday, so lets try a couple of favorites that have breakfast and know how to take care of us.
Option 1: Bucksaw Restaurant and Marina, Clinton, MO offers some great roads and scenery on Truman Lake. Lunch or breakfast (all day) with this heat early breakfast might be the way to go.

Option B: Dearborn Cafe in Dearborn, MO also offers great riding and scenery and serves up some good grub. They only serve breakfast till 10:30, but we know for a fact they will get you a slice of pie to go with it! Pick your time, it will be hot.

Wow, roads closed, detours, heat and it still turned out to be a great riding day. I had told them at Dearborn Cafe we would have a smaller crowd, what a lie! When we rolled in there were 37 there, she said 12 had already left and 7 more came in! So we'll call it 50, but was probably more. I had to bus some tables and the only complaint was they forgot someones oatmeal. They took care of us even as they ran out of almost all breakfast items and were sincerely sorry for goofing on the oatmeal. Swanne and Bucky even rode over to visit and eat with us.

Twenty one Romeos met on the shores of Truman Lake at Bucksaw Marina today for breakfast/lunch. It was such a nice day that we all sat out on the covered patio at the marina. The comfortable temp, blue skies and hilly curvy roads around the lake made for a nice day.
Hope everyone had a safe trip home. We even had one rider (Bob) riding home to via Oklahoma. He thought total trip to be 300+ miles. Also had Larry#3 with his new Ultra Limited.
Proud to be a Romeo

Re: Tues 6/05/18 Bucksaw Marina, Clinton & Dearborn Cafe, Dearborn
Another RomeoRide today, Tuesday on the Missouri side. Down to Clinton MO, Bucksaw Resort(?)... Food was good but the day was about riding once again.
A fellow BMW rider, Teresa Karaff Rogers, gave me the idea to find Tri-State markers. Those are the geographical points where three states come together. I bagged two of them today. Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma AND Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma!
In addition to the two markers I can add two states to my NewBikeMap. Yeah, I'm a little odd. I rode 486 miles to take obscure photos along the road and hidden off the road. At least I'm not wearing out a lounger watching TV, right?
