Guys - Sorry for the late write-up but I had more computer problems. Seems that McAfee was at war with Avast inside this thing and wouldn't let me load my photos. Another $40.00 fix. What I won't do for you guys!
Yesterday we went to Green! I didn't even know it existed. It was so far off the radar my glasses never even picked it up. Thanks to 'Big Jim' we had a wonderful ride to a nice place and a great meal. Green....hmmmm.
If you were out riding yesterday, it just doesn't get much better than that! I love fall. Spring is OK too but fall...it's just better somehow.
We had 24 show up which was a fair turnout for the distance one could say but we've had bigger turnouts, but hey, it's not about numbers is it! I never saw one sad face. It's like the old saying....you never see a motorcycle parked in front of a psychiatrists office. We had a time yesterday, yes we did. First the meal and then a pie and ice cream run to Leonardville then a quick zip down to Jct. City to view the cycles shop where they had a marvelous glove sale going on. Joyce even negotiated a sale for me for next Christmas of a pair of spiffy leather winter gloves. My collection of cloth ones just aren't doing the job. Now I can't wait 'till Christmas!
Oh, almost forgot the stats. We had 24 and Leo met a friend today. Bud Lee and his wife brought along their dog in the sidecar so Leo wold have someone to visit with as well. Oh my gosh.......Bud didn't sign the sheet so let me adjust our number by another two so we really had 26 not 24 as earlier stated. Sorry I didn't catch that sooner.
Evan Jones won the coveted long distance award by coming the farthest. Or is it furthest. He reported 102.4 miles but we all know Evan and how he embelishes things!
