South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, December 28, 11:00 AM

The good news is that the days are now getting longer. The bad news is that we have about three months of winter to get through, so we’ll try to stay a little closer to home while we wait for better riding weather.

Big (not so) Bad John suggested that we return to Brunins Café, and Gen. Bob was quick to second the motion. The food and service were very good when we visited in October, and they really appreciate having us show up. You can’t argue against sound logic like that, so we’re heading to Andale.

Next Wednesday looks to be sunny and dry, but a little cold. We’ll make this one another ride or drive event; check the weather at departure time and choose your transportation accordingly. The important thing is to show up for a good meal and spend some time with the group.

We’ve had really good participation recently, despite less than ideal weather. Let’s send 2011 out properly with a big turnout in Andale.

Well since I'm on vacation and LOVE the breakfast and pies there I am planning to ride out Wednesday!

Welcome Dave, Now that you have a chance to get out on the road. its nice to have you with us. I will most likely leave my place alone with others around 10:00am or 10:15 and head to Andale. Your welcome to run with us if you like. Thats 3101 S. Waco thats at the corner of 30th and Waco. Will have the coffee on . Just come through the gate on the west side. Hope to see you here. Bob

We had seventeen at Brunin's for lunch, arriving on eleven motorcycles and a few cars. It was a fitting final ride of the year, with good weather (a bit cold when we started) and clear skies.
