Lunch Ride 09/26 Home Plate Cafe Kincaid, KS

Post by alyle123 »

King Loyal has found a new café in Kincaid. It is located in the cafeteria of an old school building and he suggests we should give it a go. Therefore, he has instructed me to summon all his loyal (no pun intended) subjects to join him at:

HOME PLATE CAFE 11:00 a.m.
503 5th Avenue
Kincaid, KS
620-439-5333

Friday's special is chicken and noodles on mashed potatoes with vegetable and roll. I didn't get a price but know money is no object for ROMEO's anyway! We've seen the menu and there are many other good looking choices for us also. They have only recently opened so maybe we can give them a shot in the arm to help get going. Hope to see you there.

Here's the deal...
King Loyal picks the location. Then, either I or John Davis will post the ride information and do the report after. But, although Loyal picked the location for this week's ride, neither John nor I can be there to do the photos and report. Also, it was this week we were going to collect from the SEK bunch for the website expense assistance program. Hopefully, Loyal will bring his helmet in and remember to pass it. If not, someone please remind him. And, if you've a camera handy please feel free to do a post-ride report.

How many SEK ROMEOS does it take to get a ride posted...must be a joke in there somewhere. Hope there is a good turnout and all are safe.

...and such a deal it was!!!!! :o

Well, we had 25 people eating and 23 motorcycles for the riding people at Kincaid this morning. Had people from the Kansas City group, from the Eastern Kansas group and the Southeast group, all making this a great event. The food was good and Rhonda was an excellent hostess. I did not see any unhappy faces :)

John:

Thanks for the ride report. Glad you were able to be there after all. And thanks to all those who made the trip to Kincaid. I'm sure the business appreciated the boost as they get up and running.

As soon as the King decides where we are going next week...if he hasn't already...we'll get it posted and I hope to be there. Sorry I couldn't make it this time.
