Hoser, too easy. I can read the name on the cemetery.

I cheated!! :o

St. Joseph's Cemetery, aka McDowell Creek Cemetery, is located in Sec. 34, Wingfield Twp., about a mile southeast of Interstate 70 on McDowell Creek Road. This cemetery was photographed March 23, 2007 by Sheryl McClure. St. Joseph's Catholic Church is located adjacent to the cemetery. Although no longer in use, the building is in good condition (see here). According to a plaque on the building, the church was built in 1910, and probably replaced an older structure, since burials occurred long before that date. The cemetery is still an active one, with several burials occurring in 2006.

Thanks, Hoser, (fun) Do I get a prize??

Ok Roger here's a slightly harder one...you have to identify it from the INside :o

Hint 1: It's not Amish   :D

Hint 2: NE KS Romeo group has been VERY close to it on previous ride(s) :?:

Actually I got it mixed up myself  Now that's a senior moment when it's your own picture and you get it wrong

When I posted it was thinking it was at St Marys but actually it's the church at St Benedict. Wife is the one who took them.

My Thanks to Hoser

Post by shoresr »

John "Hoser" L.

Hoser, I was heading north on Highway 59 today (you don't have to guess where this is) after leaveing the ROMEO Lunch at Two Sisters in Kincaid. Maybe I was a little nostalgic, but I passed this Santa on the tractor in a yard as I zooooommmed by I though of Hoser. We have all enjoyed his pictures for many years and I thought, when I saw that Santa Clause, John would stop and take a picture of that. I am always going too fast and don't take the time to really enjoy the many awesome things that riding a motorcycle gives up.

Hoser always shares his pictures with us and we get to go a lot of places through his lens. As I was fumbling with my camera today Swanee said "I wish Hoser was here, he would immortalize the closing the Two Sisters."

So this is MY THANKS TO HOSER, I stopped and took some pictures of Santa Clause.
