Lunch Ride Wed Sept 21

I believe that many, if not most, of our local riders have gone, or are going, down to THE HUB in Arkansas, for there ride this week.
DarIene and I have just returned from The Walnut Valley Music Festival in Winfield.
After about 50 hrs of music in 4 days, and COLD, I'm TIRED
SOOOO..... If someone else would like to post a ride I would appreciate it .
I see that a ride has been posted for Oct 5th at 11:00am.
Sounds like a winner.

As John said, it will probably be a small group this Wednesday. Let's meet at Roy's BBQ, in Hutchinson, at 11:00 AM. It's midway between the North Central and South Central areas, so those of us from both groups who didn't get to go to Arkansas can commiserate (and enjoy a pretty good lunch.)

Note: 5th Avenue, in Hutchinson, becomes Nickerson Boulevard as you travel west.

I'm pretty sure John will return to his Big Bad self once we get some ribs in him...

The weather was trying to dissuade us from going , but we went anyway. A few drops made it over my tall windshield, but neither of us got wet.
Six showed up at Roy's.
Brian F., Roger S., Gene B., Ron H., John K., and Darlene D.
We had a good visit. Two old folks (older than us I think) , joined us at the round table. We chatted about Winfield and BBQ places.
I fudged the mileage by 2 to take farthest. Gene should have won.
