What was your best ride of the year, or worst, and why.
I think my best one was the last one. A handful of us met at Green Acres for a late breakfast on a Sunday. The weather was predicted to change and it did about four hours early and caught us with a cold front and a 30 degree temp drop. Froze my keister off, but there was still something nice about squeezing out the very last riding weather of the day and maybe the year.

Re: Best Ride
My favorite was the ride last year to Colony when Harry got us lost on the way down and I sprained my ankle on the curb at the Garnett roundabout. Wierd, huh, that was also my 1st romeo ride. Hoser

Re: Best Ride
Harry and I headed to Alma to eat one day. We finely stopped in Eskridge for lunch as we were very hungry and running out of time. We were never lost, and always knew where we were going, it was just the roads that weren't cooperating. But we saw some interesting places (feed lots), rode some interesting roads,(some unnamed) and laughed the entire time.

Re: Best Ride
I liked most of the rides but a couple of favorites were Reading and Chapman. Reading for a couple of reasons.I took different routes to and from Reading but coming home from there the temperature was warm and the road was almost abandon. The same thing with the Chapman lunch, I came back on Hwy 17 towards Manhattan and it was great.
The more meals I get to, the more people I meet, and the more enjoyable the gatherings are.
See you all soon.

If you can, come by the car wash on 6th St. (next to Anderson Rentals) sometime this weekend. If it's nice out, I'll be around, and we can bs awhile. If the sign on the door says "be back in a little bit", I won't be gone long, so hang out if you want.
