SEPTEMBER 23RD, LUNCH, 10:30 AM, FINER THAN A FROG HAIR, DENISON, KS

[Al Hayes]

Summer is running its course, so saddle up and get ready for a pleasant ride next Wednesday to Denison, KS. We haven’t been to this place since last September. I talked to Sam, the owner, and she was really pleased to hear that we were coming back. She didn't even blink when I told her there could be anywhere from 12 to 25 or more, depending on weather. And yes, she told me the doors will be open at 10:30 am.

Speaking of weather, the forecast is telling me 20% precipitation in the upper 60’s for the high. On that “Happy Note” I will be looking forward to seeing you all there next Wednesday!

PS: As a reminder: “Romeo Fall Rendezvous” October 5-7, 2026, Mon-Wed, at Petit Jean State Park, south of Russellville Ark. Bob Savner, the coordinator, has posted all the details in the “Riding Events” on our website. All are invited and welcomed to attend. I’ve been told rooms have been filling up and cabins are the only places left open.
