Here is another interesting place we’ve not been to in a while. For those of you who are history buffs, here is one of few old-time country stores historically left to still serve its community from the old fronter days.

The Mildred Store is a hundred-year-old grocery store with a country music dance hall in the back. The store has served the rural community for many years and has been known for its deli sandwiches. Overtime the store has changed very little, but the newest addition of country music has brought the store and the community back to life.

So, let’s saddle up and make our way to Mildred, Ks next Wednesday for a good homemade sandwich and a finger likin good time together. I hope to see you all there!
