Virginia Grand Tour Stops 1,9,7,4

Post by shoresr »

What a great ride. We met the founder of the Virginia Grand Tour and the president of the Honda Riders of Tidewater. Not only did we get to meet them we rode with them to three of the stops on the Grand Tour, #1, #9 and #7.

Terry S. has been putting together the Virginia Grand Tour for over twenty years as a fund raiser for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation "Ride for Kids" It was a real pleasure to get to meet both Terry and Jim and to hear the stories and the history of the GTV.

After leaving Virginia Beach we spent the night in Newport News and had a really good dinner at the Crab Shack. We enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen and lasted almost forty five minutes :o

Coming home we got stop #4 in Colonial Beach.

WE rode just a little over six hundred beautiful mile, a WIN WIN, one for the kids and one for us.
