Since we have real nice weather over the next ten days .. why don’t we continue our breakfast rides. Thought we could try the West Plains Ozark Cafe. Remember the last time we attempted to try this place, we ended up recruiting the entire town of Bakersfield including the Mayor to help fix Mike Rowland’s back tire. Let’s give it one more try if that’s ok. Look forward to seeing you all soon !

I called the Ozark Cafe today. They are excited we are coming on Tuesday morning. See you there around 8:45am. Gonna try their signature pancakes !!

Hello everyone. Thanks to those who rode to West Plains today for breakfast. For those who did not make it, we definitely missed you. Gonna post another ride for next Thursday the 23rd. I’m thinking we might just get 17+ on that one. More to come on that ride real soon.

We had 9 riders today. The 70 mile ride to the Ozark Cafe was pretty nice. The sun and lite fog was a bit of a booger I admit but only in patches. Saw just one deer and rode underneath a bald eagle for what seemed like a mile. It was kind of cool. The ride home was just perfect. Dan Kierls and I shot up hwy 5 out of Gainesville on our KLR pigs. Some of the others rode home on 101 to Mountain Home. It was a nice gathering today. Food and conversation were both great as always. Brook took such good care of us. I admire how hard those restaurant people work.

Great time Ozark Cafe !! We will be back !!

Next time, take hwy CC due west out of West Plains and then go south on 181. Beautiful roads.
