Hey gang. I tested my KLR Speedo today using two popular downloaded gps speedo apps. Appears my KLR Speedo is 2-3 mph faster. Never more than 3 mph diff thru a wide range of speeds. May be the new Shinko 705 tires I put on. Anyway, minor discrepancy. So, here’s what I’m gonna suggest. I got us a group discount at a reputable calibration shop in MH .. to have all your speedometers pulled and recalibrated. Hee Hee. See you Tuesday in Leslie. Ed ..

The red River cafe website indicates they open at 11am which is why I scheduled for 11. I called them to warn them that we were coming … and they said they needed to update their website with the new earlier summer hours … or I would have scheduled the standard 10am brunch time. Yep, another ride in the books!

Really fun day today. Nice ride down until I blew past the red river cafe. Car was right on my butt so I played it safe and just turned around down 65 a bit. Quickly turned around and was glad to see everyone. Great food and fellowship.
