Tuesday 8/6/24 Big Creek Cafe or Roxanne's Cafe Platte City

Option A this week is a relatively new ROMEO place. We have only been coming here 8 years Last time was on a damp chilly, rainy day at the beginning of April and nobody rode. Big Creek is convenient and the food and service are always great. They are expecting us at 10:00. I doubt cold will be a problem so hop on the bike (or anything else) and come join us.

Option B this week is Roxanne's Cafe, Platte City, MO. This is a ROMEO favorite and we have not been there since April. They are expecting us at 10:00 for breakfast. Remember the Hiway 92 Bridge across I-29 is still closed. Forecast looks a little warm but no rain, as always be safe!

We had a nice gathering at Roxanne's in Platte City, service and food was great as usual. There were 23 ROMEOS enjoying the day and 10 of us rode. Joe P. rode up from Lamar, MO to visit us. Managed to get a photo of him leaving (006.jpg). See you next week!

What a great day for a ride! Cooler temps, a gentle breeze, and cloud cover made the trip to Big Creek Cafe perfect! This weather is going to fool us into thinking fall is just around the corner!
