This week we will be going to a new place. Chris’s Café comes well recommended by those who have been there. I haven’t personally eaten there, but I’m told that the food and service are good. A very simple, small cafe with friendly faces. There are typically no really big meals on the menu (no chicken fried steak or anything like that) but there are nice, simple meals that are quick and tasty.
I think you will find Chris herself a wonderful person whose personality is warm, welcoming, and charitable. The weather should be somewhat cooler for a pleasant ride. “Happy Trails” to you all and hope to see you next Wednesday.

What a beautiful day this was. The weather was fabulous. I even had to use my heated handle bar warmers this morning. Chris and Stacy were "Rocking and Rolling" the minute we walked in. I think we have found a "KEEPER". The pecan rolls sold out and I can see why. You could get addicted real fast. I told Chris before I left that when more ROMEO's find out about her place we could overwhelm her with our business. If you haven't been here you should!
We also had a visit from the Mayor's Office (Mark Govea) along with the Deputy Chief (William Bradshaw). The Mayor apologized for the lack of parking on main street and asked if we would next time use the empty lot across the street for motorcycle parking. He also took an interest in our ROMEO hats, so one of our riders furnished him with one. It was suggested if he would like to have his name "Mayor Mark" embroidered on the hat, he said that would be great! So since Tadd Leisure was with us today, we sent the hat home with him for Janet to embroider the Mayor's name on it. I told the Mayor I would personally deliver it to him when it was finished.
You guys and gals have been so generous in giving to the WEBSITE FUND. You raised $50 yesterday at the Whistle Stop and another $86 today! I think we are going to meet our goal and then some. Remember, any money raised over our goal will go against our next year's expenses. Thank you everyone, and I know Jerry Mattson will be appreciative for all your help and generosity!
Ok, if I haven't bored you to death yet it's now time for "SHOW & TELL":
