NO RIDE for Wednesday March 25.

Post by swanee »

Got some input from Mick and he doesn't think we should be scheduling regular ROMEO meets for at least next few weeks. I guess he's right since our age group has higher risk of something worse than feeling like crap should they come down with the dreaded virus, and some experts are saying it will increase a lot in the coming weeks. Let's hope then it goes the hell away. Anyway with the governor now telling liquor stores to go to curb service, I don't think any restaurant in Kansas knows for sure what they'll be open for if anything come the next Wednesday. So don't drop us off your bookmarks but we'll have to put a hiatus on it for awhile.

In the meantime maybe call up a buddy or two, or go solo whatever you prefer, but get out there and do some riding when we have some nice spring days. I saw that our old pal Roger Shores is definitely doing that over in VA (great pics :!: ) and I plan to as well. Ride safe and stay safe 8-)

No one is saying to not ride if conditions permit; however, we need to be socially responsible for how we interact with everyone around us during this time. Social distancing works well on a motorcycle. Just use caution during gas stops and keep a distance when not on the bike. 😊

No romeoriders.com today! The world is closed for business so I thought I would just find a county that had no reported cases. Atchison county came to mind as well as the famous Taco Johns restaurant/drive up...
144 sMiles for the day with little or no human contact. I wear appropriate motorcycle gloves. My kind of day!
Even the state park I stopped at was closed to human and geese traffic.
