We haven't been to Fajitas since last April, and believe it or not we just might once again (per the forecast right now) get something that's akin to halfway decent riding weather for January anyway. Or maybe not. Regardless it sounds like a good time to head for Osky since we haven't done Mexican in awhile. Whether you ride or drive you don't want to miss out on the good stuff they serve at Fajitas. Doors open at 11 am so here's where you want to be:

Re: LUNCH 11AM JANUARY 8, FAJITAS, OSKALOOSA KS
I believe we had 31 in all at Osky today, 29 rode, one towed, and Mick would have rode but he's got an arm out of commission. So many motorcycles in Fajitas parking lot looked like it was a spring day even though most of the morning was both cold and a bit windy. So I guess it only takes lots of sunshine, which we did have in abundance, to get a bunch of riders with cabin fever on their bikes...especially when down the road there's a good hot Mexican meal and plenty of hot air from ROMEO BS to warm them up.
The food and service were great as usual at Fajitas and people enjoyed everything from the taco salad special to a huevos rancheros breakfast which they do serve even though they don't open until 11. It did come as quite a surprise to some of their local customers that motorcycle guys had filled up the majority of seats in the place. But the staff there worked hard and managed to get most of our group filled up with food by around noon so the regulars didn't seem to mind. Thanks to the folks at Fajitas for helping us make it a great winter day to be a ROMEO

Lovely day in the neighborhood... Windy and cold but lovely none the less. 116 sMIles to lunch with a bunch of old guys. Oskaloosa, KS., Fajitas restaurant, 37 degrees, obligatory water feature and roadside signage. Good day.
