Happy New Year one and all!
The Oatmeal Gang (and associates), were discussing the "not having" the annual, traditional, Romeo ride on New Years Day, and decided we need to have one. Our plan is to go to Green Acres in Vasser, Ks. as always. Yes, I know we were just there, but that's OK--this traditional ride is special. We were planning a LUNCH ride, looking at about 11:00 or so. The weather looks to be good, a little cool to start, but in the upper 40's as the day wears on--but "cool" is no step for a stepper-right?!
Anyway, you are all invited to join us, and as always, no dues or membership fee's required.

Re: New Years Day ride
Sounds like a plan!! When I was paying my bill there Wed., I mentioned that some of us were still planning on being there on New Years Day, the cashier commented that several of the employee's had mentioned that they hadn't heard anything about our annual visit, and was curious why we hadn't set up the ride.

GLAD to see someone is "stepping up to the plate" this year for New Year's Day
I couldn't do New Years this time but have posted it the past couple years since Don decided he didn't want to. If I recall at that time Mick declined to take it up because he usually has other plans on New Year's. This year Mick asked me to cover the 28th so I decided to just do Vassar oh Wednesday instead what the heck (I guess the employee there I talked to didn't tell the rest of them).
Since there are clearly ROMEO's who feel this ride is a special tradition and should always be on New Year's Day, this one now belongs to them...congratulations to Mike and the Oatmeal Gang
