The pick for our next Wednesday’s ride is Bradley’s Corner, located in Old Town, Topeka, just north of the river over the bridge at the intersection of North Kansas Avenue and Laurent St.

This is not a big place, but they’ve added another room to accommodate their customers. They do serve breakfast and lunch, but if you've never been to Bradley's, their specialty is PIE! Unless you're watching your girlish figure, you might want to try a piece of Bradley’s pie. Weather wise, it will be somewhat frigid but do-able and well worth the ride while celebrating over a cup of coffee and a delicious piece of homemade pie . . . just like Gramma used to make.

Unfortunately, and regrettably, I will not be able to make this ride, but you will be in good hands. Tim Flom has been so gracious and kind to offer his help in covering for me. So, “Happy Trails” to you all until next time!!!!

AS A REMINDER: After December 11th, there’ll be no more rides posted for the Eastern Kansas Rides until next year. Don’t forget our New Year’s Day 2025 for those of you that don’t have anywhere else to be. The first ride of the year is on a Wednesday, what a coincidence . . . and better known as our traditional Polar Bear Ride for New Year’s Day!

We had a small turnout, but the food and company was great at the corner restaurant. About 14 folks made it to Topeka for breakfast on what promised to be a nice day, if a bit chilly during the morning ride. Brad, John, Ivan, Randy, Craig, and Bob (hope I'm not forgetting anybody) braved the cool morning temps on their bikes and spiders. The rest of us kept to four wheels and enjoyed our vehicles heaters! Looking out at the weather today it's apparent that cooler winter temps will mean the occasional clear and sunny afternoon rides will be a treat in the near future. Hope to see everyone at the December Pegasus get together before the Christmas holidays!
