Tuesday 10/29/24 Patriots Restaurant in Louisburg, Ks. or Dearborn Cafe, Dearborn, MO

Option A this week is a new/old place for the ROMEOs, Patriots Restaurant in Louisburg, Ks. In the pact, we have been this restaurant under a couple of different names. Most recently Misty’s and before that Lucille’s. It’s been about 3 years since we were at Misty’s. Patriots has been open for a month or more and I’d like to give them a try. The weather looks like a great October day with a high in the 70’s. Patriots will be expecting us around 10:00. Come join us.

Option B this week is Dearborn Cafe, Dearborn, MO. We haven't been there since July and it's a good place for Breakfast, they will be expecting us at 10:00. Weather looks good for a ride up the Interurban Road, enjoy the fall colors and see you all there.

Today we had 15 ROMEO's enjoying the somewhat breezy ride up to Dearborn. There were 10 motorcycles in the parking lot in spite of the 40 mph winds. I think most of us stayed away from the major hiways as none of us wanted to join "Bob Bones" who once again joined us for our Halloween Breakfast!

We had 26 ROMEOs on a windy day at Patriots in Louisburg. They took great care of us. The food was awesome as was the service. Looks like this location will be back as a regular ROMEO stop. While sitting and visiting, I noticed a couple at the next table watching us. I thought they might be ROMEOs and went over to visit. They weren't ROMEOs but we visited and I told them a lot about the organization, our weekly lunches, number of groups, etc. and told them they were always welcome to come join us. They said they didn't have a motorcycle and I told them it didn't matter--we have no rules. I gave them my card with the website and told them their picture would be posted tonight. Maybe we'll see them again?
