Let's try another new one I stumbled onto this afternoon, TJ's Family Diner in Humboldt, KS. They previously were in a very small building but have recently joined forces and moved to a much larger one. She said they can seat 50 and our group will be no problem. They have very good reviews and sound like a favorite from the area locals. Actually, I was wanting Green Acres in Vassar, but they are calling for a decent chance of tstorms next Friday, so I thought we would hold off on that trip until clear weather for sure. Who knows, may be perfectly clear by next Friday.

Fifteen Romeos made it to TJ's Family Diner this morning in Humboldt, KS. Six of the fifteen came in on bikes. Ended up being a creamy riding day after the weather man called for rain Friday morning all week. We now have one to hold over Joe P's head, since the weather man scared him from riding, and he came in a car. Bet that doesn't happen often. LOL
I'm telling you, we are blessed to have so many small towns in the area with splendid little mom & pop restaurants. TJ's have been remodeling this small building and its really quite nice inside. They don't even have the new roadside sign up yet, which led me to ride past it the first time. The staff were really pleasant, and the service was superb. The food was very good at a reasonable price. It's always fun to go to a new place in a new town and have a positive experience, and TJ's Diner was that.
