Thanks again to Mick Lowe for being so kind and gracious in covering for me last week. It looked like everyone enjoyed Bradley’s Corner Cafe. Everyone has been so supportive since the proverbial incident that I have come through recently. Many of you have been so kind checking on me as to my physical condition health wise. For the most part, as well as can be expected and even better, nothing critical to report.

For those who may be interested and you who know me, I’m a very happy Suzuki Burgman rider. I have put five through the ultimate tests, 30 to 60 thousand miles on each. So, if you are trying to locate me this weekend, Randy & I will be about the business of picking up my sixth Burgman (2016 with only 3,300 miles and original tire still on it). Forgive me for this delayed post. I’ve had a lot of distractions today (nothing to say about being out of practice posting).

Ok, that’s a rap and looking forward to seeing everyone next Wednesday.

I mentioned last week that our fearless leader would be back this week, but it is taking him a bit longer to get mobile than he thought it would. Although he is much better he decided he needed another week to heal up but he should be back for real next week.

It was a gorgeous day to ride and when I pulled into the parking lot around 10:40 there were already 20 motorcycles In the lot and everybody was gathered in small groups shooting the breeze. And they just continued to roll in.

When we walked in all at once we filled every seat in the restaurant except a few at the bar. In total we ended up with 36 ROMEOS, including 6 from the north KC group that don't often ride with us. We enjoyed having you join us! This restaurant has only been open for a little over a year and they have continually gotten better. Considering how large our group was, they took our orders promptly and the food came out rather quickly. And it was tasty as I can personally attest with the daily special, a chicken quesadilla plus everything that came rolling out of the kitchen looked darned good!

Valley Falls is a great destination with scenic back roads coming in from all directions. And I think we all took advantage of that but everyone hung around until at least 12:30 before heading out.

A sincere thank you to everyone who came today and I think we can all agree that today was a great day to be a ROMEO!
