I stopped at Brunins Cafe in Andale and talked to the owner Ron and his daughter Amy.
They would be delighted to have us for breakfast next Wednesday July 28th, at 9:30 am.

Here's the info on the "Small Group" ride to the Andale breakfast. We will leave Bob Lee's house ( 3101 SO. Waco --SW corner ) at 8:35.... We will bypass the "Super Slab" for a back road ride to Andale..

This e-mail is from the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club of Oklahoma. Thought some of you around Wichita may be interested.

This event is Vintage motorcycle event.
VJMC Kansas Ride
Vintage Japanese Motorctcle Club
Saturday, July 31 at Winfield, Kansas.
Meet at Island Park on the North end of town and leave on the ride at 10:30 a.m. We have a ride of about 80 miles mapped out through some very scenic and sometimes twisty little backroads. We encourage little motorcycles and hold the speeds down. Heck, if you\'re worried about reliability then bring an extra motorcycle and throw it on my trailer. This is a no fee event and it is a bring your own sandwich event. I will have the escort truck and trailer with coolers and cool drinks. Last year we had 30 riders so let's go big this year. I say we go for 60 bikes! We will stop for lunch at someplace that is shady and hot and sweaty and kick tires and eat lunch. This event is for all vintage motorcycles so bring something interesting!
VJMC Contact: Call Field Rep Jeff Ecker at 620-628-4879.
You can find some photos from last years event in the ad located on the okmcevents.com website. I wish I could afford to take one of my old bikes up there and participate.
It may not be much, but there will be a CMSR Small Bike and Scooter event this fall. Tentively planned to take place at either Lake Stanley Draper or Lake Oveholser.
Safe riding,
