North Central Kansas Weekly Ride 10/19/23

I've had this one on on the back burner waiting for some cooler weather. It's a little longer hike. About 40 miles west of Mankato. I've heard that their food is really good and since the heat wave is over I thought I'd give this one a shot. We're doing this one on THURSDAY because Monday through Wednesday they're closed. The weather for Thursday is still looking pretty good, so it should be a good ride.
It looks like the weather is holding for Thursday. It's about 2 and a half hour ride from Salina, so with the help of my super computer "Deep Thought", I calculated we came up with a launch time of 10:30 from the Iron Skillet. Lil Suzi is feeling a little neglected lately. These last two rides were a little longer and the Goose has a better range, so I've been riding that. Suzi will probably lodge a protest and refuse to start next time I want to ride her.
