THIS IS A RESCHEDULED RIDE:
For those who missed out on last Wednesday's ride, it has been rescheduled because of bad weather.

"Flashbacks Cafe" This is one of our favorites. Debbie says she is eagerly looking forward to seeing all of us again. They serve breakfast all day long and lunch specials are grilled cheeseburgers or a big old tenderloin.

So you can come and join in with us either on a 2 or 4 wheeler and you are never too young or too old to ride with the Romeo Riders. We have no dues or membership fees, and you don’t have to be “Retired” or “Old” to join us. You will always find us a welcoming bunch when joining our happy crowd. I think you will find it worth your time and could make the rest of your day.

So “Happy Trails” to you all and hope to see you there.

OK, so we tried (welcome to the real world)!! The weather just didn’t cooperate with us either day we tried to ride to Tongie. It was a “Toad Soaker” in Olathe both days! But hey, those of us who braved the rain drops made the best of it and had such a good time being together that I forgot to take any photos. Can you believe it?

Three people from Basehor, KS were the first Romeo’s on site when I got there. Then two from Topeka rode in. Then Gary & Mary from Parkville, MO. came in and were so kind to let me know they came so I wouldn’t have to eat alone. You can now understand why I love riding with the Romeo Riders (you all are so supportive)! Marvin was the only one who rode his bike all the way from SW Topeka. We all congratulated him and granted him the “Blue Ribbon” for the day. I just now see that Radon logged-in. You just missed us Radon, everyone left a little after 11 am. So, there were nine of us in all with Radon riding in (tow more than last Wed.)

We missed those of you would have liked to be with us but were rained out. I’m now working on the next ride and see that it will be in the 40’s for a high. I was thinking of going to Council Grove but have second thoughts about it. I’m going to try something a little closer in for everyone. Something more like Wellsville, KS or Ottawa, KS. So, watch the WEB-SITE! Until then, “Happy Trails” to you all and hope to see you at next roundup!
