Instead of the 90's we've about gotten used to before spring is even over, they're predicting a high in the low-to-mid 80's for Wednesday as summer officially cranks up. Sounds good and heard that Smoked Creations would be happy to have a ROMEO group coming back there again whether it be large or small. If they're wanting our business then it's time to get back to a place that serves no breakfast but makes up for it with their lunch.

While the normal serving start time is 11:00, Chance said as before they'd like to get us all seated in the same area a little earlier than that. Then they can start taking orders before the main lunch crowd starts arriving. Try to be in the parking lot between 10:00 and 10:30 if you can. Once they get us all seated then they'll start rolling out a real tasty BBQ special with your choice of sides that ends up being what most people order. Their menu also has lots of other stuff should you be in the mood for something other than one heck of a BBQ sandwich. This is one of our favorites and you can't go wrong.

If the weather guys have it right should be a great day to ride as well as eat BBQ so head over to Ottawa at:

Smoked Creations
222 E. Logan St.
Ottawa, KS 66067

Looks like there were 27 bikes and 29 people on a nice sunny summer day not too terribly hot, that had lots of riders heading out with a belly full of BBQ to find some more roads to ride or maybe a road that has a pie stop on it.

It wasn't the biggest crowd ROMEO has ever created at Smoked Creations, but for "these days" we can say it was definitely a good turnout. And every time we get to see folks back we haven't seen in months that makes it an even better turnout. One thing is for sure: Smoked Creations hasn't lost a thing when it comes to serving up real good food and real nice staff bringing it out without much waiting even when pretty much the bunch of us gets seated all at the same time. The people there do an amazing job. This time they gave ROMEOs a choice of whether to eat inside or out, and dining outside was popular on a day like this while overlooking a whole bunch of beautiful bikes--which made it into a "scenic view of Ottawa" for those who like motorcycles if not for everybody. Not a bad day at all if you're lucky enough to be a ROMEO!

Wish I could have gone. Looks like a great day to be a ROMEO. I was here instead. Don't worry, it wasn't Covid-19. Just
Surgery to remove a tumor in my bladder.
