South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, October 9, 11:00 AM

Charlie's been out roaming the boondocks again (no surprise there) and come across a new place for us. I've been to the Copper Kettle once or twice a long time ago, but we've never been there as a group. After seeing the food photos on their Facebook page, I think I should get back to Eureka. There's a full menu of sandwiches, dinners, a salad bar, and homemade baked goods. (I'm looking forward to the cinnamon rolls...) Breakfast is served until 11:00, for you early birds.
Eureka is about sixty-five miles from Wichita; an hour and fifteen minutes, maybe less on a motorcycle. There are plenty of options for a longer ride home, and all of them will take you through part of the Flint Hills. River Street is the main east/west street in Eureka, also known as Highway 54.
It looks like we may have some good riding weather next Wednesday, so let's enjoy a bit longer than usual ride to lunch. If the weather turns on us, it'll still be a pleasant ride on four wheels.
TIME:
11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 9
PLACE:
Copper Kettle
815 E River St, Eureka, KS 67045
