Cold be damned we made a good showing at Tom's Apple Tree. No bikes but a lot of folks showed up to enjoy a great meal and fellowship and say goodby to a great restaurant. We had 25 turn out for lunch at Tom's. It was a rough start for me as my forgetful demon jabbed me 3 times before I finally was able to complete the trip to Tom's. I'm sure the neighbors were were wondering why I was repeatedly driving around the block only to rush into the house and drive off again. Finally having a firm grasp on everything I needed to bring I was able to complete the journey to Tom's. I arrived to find most of the crown there filling the center row of tables and spilling over to some other tables. I joined Shorty and Alpha at their table and soon Bib Jim, Little Jim, John, and Diesel Dave joined us. Being the neanderthal carnivore that I am I opted for the KC strip steak which was a great meat and potatoes meal. And it really satisfied my inner steak beast. During the usual world peace summit after the meal it was brought to my attention that the weather may be looking pretty good for next week. So stay tuned. There may be somewhere to go next week.

We had riders from Salina, Minneapolis, Hutchenson, Kanopolis, Carlton, Lindsborg, and Canton, with the long distance going to Denny Sexton from Hutch at 61 miles.
