Prayer Request

I was informed by his sister that ROMEO Jon Hamilton, Olathe is at Olathe Medical Center after having had a massive heart attack and he also has an large abdominal aortic aneurysm. He is awaiting results of all the tests to determine treatment. Surgery prospects are complicated by his COPD. Prayers will be much appreciated.
I will post additional information as it becomes available.

He is having a heart Cath today.

Heart cath results were not good, showing significant blockage. Doctors are weighing options.

Jon's second heart cath yesterday went well and doctors were able to get through the blockage and restore blood flow to the front of the heart. Now he will have to rest and recover before they tackle the repair of the abdominal aortic aneurysm. No word yet on when/if he will be released from hospital. His family is grateful for the prayers.

Jon and I have been friends for many years as we both lived in Ottawa. He always has time for others. Please pray for him.

On the way back from Osage City I stopped to see Jon. Jon really looks good, he was eating and seemed in good spirits.
Jon has an aneurysm that needs to be operated on. He has been in the Olathe Regional Hospital room 405 for two weeks! They can't operate until his vital signs have have stabilized in a satisfactory range. To this point that has not happened. It is primarily his blood pressure.
His sister who lives in Salina has been staying in a local motel for the last two weeks. Most of Jon's visitors have been Romeos and he seems to appreciate the visits. One can only imagine what it's like to be in the hospital for two weeks waiting for something to happen.
I told Jon how much he was missed today and that everyone was asking about him. I think he would appreciate a call, card or visit.

John has improved to the point that he has moved to Hoeger House in Olathe for rehab.

Jon was released from CCU today into a step down room after his surgery on the 25th for an abdominal aortic aneurysm. He's beginning to recover from the surgery. The family thanks you all for your prayers and for continuing to lift him up.

Recently received word from Jon's sister that he is now back home in Ottawa, doing very well! His family thanks for the prayers and visits to Jon.
