ROMEOS

Having been west and north recently, it’s time to head south and east for lunch. This place has just recently opened (thanks to Brian for the heads up) after Udall went without a café for quite a while. The dining areas are bright and nicely finished, and the food I had on my scouting mission (tough work, but someone has to do it…) was very good. There’s an overflow/meeting room on the west side of the café that will hold all of us easily. The current forecast for Wednesday calls for sunny skies, a high of 84º, and light southerly winds. Since Udall is only about twenty-five miles from Wichita, you might need to choose the long way home to take advantage of what looks like a great day to ride.

I am not retired yet, but you'll be close enough for me slip to Udall on Thursday over lunch.

The "Small Group" will leave MotorSports ( 31st South and K-15 )at 10:00 a.m. for the ride to Udall this Wednesday..

We had another good turnout: twenty-seven ROMEOs, who rode a total of 811 miles (one way) to Udall. There was plenty of room, the service was quick for a group of our size, and the food was good. We saw a few new faces this time around (well, the faces were kinda old, but it was the first time we saw them...) It's good to see more people joining the group.
