Congratulations to Jr Wege for again putting together the fall ride at The Hub.
Unfortunately I could not attend as I had tickets to the Walnut Valley Music Festival in Winfield.
I decided that Jr and co. needed a break from always comming the farthest on our rides.

That Famous Small Group will leave MotorSports at 10:30 for the ride to Oxford... A previous commitment will not allow me to be there ( Big Deal ) Enjoy. And--someone order the Hot beef Sandwich with extra gravy and let me know what I missed.

Thirteen showed up for lunch at Angie D's.
I was disapointed that only four showed up from Wichita. Dewayne H, Bob McC.,Carry McA. and I.
Ron Huxman came the farthest from Moundridge. 80 miles. HURRAH!
Jr. could have walked the 5 1/2 blocks.
Jr. brought two bikes for sale.
Both from Avin George. A BMW and a Honda. See attaached pictures.
The BMW is a 2008 R1200GS $11,500.00
The Honda is a 1974 CB 550 $ 900.00
Avin will not be able to ride again. Broken neck, severed spinal chord and multiple breaks in his leggs.
Lets all hope for the best for him. More surgeries are planned later in the week if he is stable enough.
He is in the St. John's Regional Medical Center in Springfield Mo. Rm 7112. Jeanette and kids? are with him.
