Tuesday 8/27/24 Harold's Smokehouse, Freeman, MO or TenPenny Restaurant, Leavenworth, KS

Option A this week is a longtime ROMEO favorite, Harold's Smokehouse in Freeman, MO. We are going to do lunch a little later than usual. I told them we would show up at 12:30 when they regularly open the doors. We started visiting Harold's 10 years ago and I always look forward to it. Hopefully you can can join us.

Option B this week will be the TenPenny Restaurant in Leavenworth, KS. We haven't been there in a while and it looks like it is going to be a good day to ride. Let's do Lunch at 11:00, as always be safe!

Today we had 23 ROMEO's brave the forecasted heat and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Ten Penny in Leavenworth. Most of us rode as I counted 15 motor cycles in the parking lot! Not bad for an upper 90's day.

We had 28 ROMEOs show up for lunch at Harold's Smokehouse. Temp was mid 90's as I approached Freeman and I was worried that I might be the only one there today. Not to worry, i spied a bike a little ahead and thought - well, there will be two of us. When Harold's came in sight there were a ton of bikes and there were ROMEOs huddled in any shade they could find waiting for the restaurant to open. With relief I found that everyone was in a good mood and when we got inside it was cool and we all had a great time. Harold's did their usual great service and food. I've ordered cooler temperatures for next week.
