JULY 14, 10:00 AM WIND WAGON CAFE, OSKALOOSA, KS

Post by Al Hayes »

Those who've been around the ROMEO RIDERS for some years will remember this same location in downtown Osky as Rose's Cafe which is long gone. It re-opened awhile back and is called the Wind Wagon cafe.

Now this is not a real huge place. If it rains then we won't have a crowd anyway. If it's dry and warm enough hopefully we will draw a good crowd for breakfast & lunch (Lunch starts @ 11:00am).

Like Rose's it's still a friendly down-home kinda place and you can tell it is popular with the locals. Mick recommends their “German Chocolate Cake”. He says it is super good! REALLY GOOD! Happy trails everybody and hope to see you all next Wednesday at:

Wind Wagon Cafe
522 Liberty St
Oskaloosa, KS 66066
(785) 863-2117

Thanks to Gary, the location of all ROMEO rides for next week can be found at:

What a day and what a crowd. 30+ bikes and a strong 40+ people. And some came in their 4 wheels. The cook and 2 waitresses worked tirelessly. I think we just about exhausted the cook, but she got us all fed with her love and kindness. This was her first round up and she assured me that next time she will be ready and better prepared. You all were very understanding and patient and for that deserve a big THANK YOU!!!

Hope everyone had a good time and safe traveling home. “Happy trails to you all until we meet again”.
