Going home, other Greg probably had a sweet ride to St. Louis. Me on the other hand, as Terry CD (camp director) would confirm, route looked like a Georgia road map. And sure enough, I had to stop about 35 miles shy of Louisburg to add gear to start my free bike and trailer wash. The cold, wet, windy ride wasn't that bad, but the lightning was. I want to formally thank Louisburg Ford for the comfort of their covered sidewalk and the free WIFI. They both made my stay enjoyable. It was also good of our state troopers and local police to make sure my stay was beyond my wildest dreams. Thanks LEOs! So after a time of weather watching, snacks and drinks, Wifi and LEO visits, I was ready to hit the road, not only because I needed to get home, but to return to my stopping point before Louisburg to retrieve my pocket knife I had dropped. (I really like that knife). That was the worst part of my excursion I might add. That 70 mile roundtrip was a bummer. Thanks Arky and CD for another great campout and I look forward to Terry's infamous cheesy eggs and grits next year. Maybe you will add homemade sourdough biscuits too
