Option A this week is a new restaurant for the ROMEOs, TJ's Cafe South in Belton. Suggested by one of our ROMEOs, TJ's South opened around January 20th this year! It's part of a 3 restaurant mom and pop chain in our area. Read about the owners here. They will be expecting us around 10am. Temperature should be close to 55 by 10. It looks like it will be a good day and I hope you can join us.

We had 24 ROMEOs at TJ's in Belton today. Those of us that got there right at 10 found a line of ROMEOs backed up to the front door waiting for seating. It seems there was a bit of miscommunication, maybe on my part, but the restaurant didn't realize we were coming. The restaurant did a good job with the first 16 and they were all seated together. After a little wait the rest of us were seated at a couple of tables in a nearby section of the restaurant. Amy, the manager, came buy and talked to me. She recognized me and remembered me coming by last Tuesday, but she associated me with a group for a different day. I am proud of you all for taking it in stride and not getting excited. The restaurant did a fantastic job with the unexpected crowd. The service was great and the waitresses remained friendly and attentive throughout. The food was excellent and several of you mentioned to me that it was some of the best food we have experienced. We will be back!!
In addition to not being certain the restaurant had noted that we were coming, I fell down on another part of my job. When I pulled into the parking lot there were a lot of bikes there. I took a couple of quick photos then went inside. When I got inside and saw the line I got distracted, and spent some time trying to get a count, then got to talking motorcycle with the guys at my table, then visited with Amy about the morning's problems. End result was that I didn't take anymore pictures.
All of that said, I thoroughly enjoyed the morning and hope you did too. I'll do my best to make sure the restaurants always know were coming.

Re: Tuesday 3/11/25 TJ's South, Belton, MO or Wabash BBQ, Excelsior Springs, MO
Sorry for the late post, we're in the process of selling our home of 38 years and purchasing a new one. Too many irons in the fire!!
Tuesday we had 18 happy ROMEO's arrive at Wabash BBQ on 13 Motorcycles, was a beautiful day. Bud told me his goal this week was to ride every day!!
I hope Friday doesn't foil his plans. We all enjoyed the conversation and food, see you all next week.
