Romeo ride tues 5/28
We will be riding to Wimfields On Main in Adrian, MO for breakfast/lunch. They serve breakfast until 11:00 then lunch after 11:00. Breakfast is always good. They have a lunch special that changes every day most of the time. They also have good tenderloins and various meals and sandwiches. I visited with Randy Wimsatt. He said they will be ready for us and they are glad to have us back. This was Mel's home restaurant. See you Tuesday.

Re: KC Area Romeo Ride Tues 5/28
We woke up with gray overcast, it looked like it could rain at any moment. Resting upon the weatherman's assurance that the rain would hold off until 3 pm., off we rode. We are very happy that we took our chances with the weather. Mel Smith's sister in law welcomed the group to town as we arrived. Mel was a highly esteemed member, and we are so pleased to continue visiting his town.
We had a good turnout, good company and good food.
As I am posting this at 1 p.m. thunder is rumbling, it looks like we timed it just right! I will be praying for the safe arrival home for those who rode a greater distance.

Thanks ShovelMike for your post and pictures I appreciate the help. Because of threatening weather all afternoon I am just now getting to posting more pictures of todays ride to Wimfields in Adrian. Thought I would arrive early around 10:15 to be there when others started arriving. Wrong, there were already 20 or so Romeos already there and ready to eat. The gang at Wimfields fixed breakfast up to 11:00 with all kinds of breakfast being ordered. After 11:00 lunch started coming out of the kitchen and by noon we were out of there and on our long trip back to Butler. As Bill says "didn't even get the oil warmed up". The special today was all you can eat tacos. They served 6 tacos and drink for $7.00. If that didn't fill you up they would just get more tacos for you. I don't believe anyone had seconds on the tacos. Good to see the good turnout of I believe 36 Romeos. Thanks for coming. I have posted several pictures taken today, hope you enjoy.

Some of us had to look for rain after breakfast at Wimfields. G. Doll got some more miles and learned how to put on a rain suit under a bridge.
